Two committees comprising city, county, military, and other stakeholders will guide Study development:
The Policy Committee will include elected officials from the various communities in the CUS Study Area and leadership from NAS Pensacola. The PC will provide key insights into local and regional issues and will also be critical in helping establish and maintain relationships between key stakeholders, the communities, and the CUS development team.
The GAC will include representatives from local jurisdictions, agencies, the military, and other stakeholders with expertise in one or more of the 25 Compatibility Factors that will be assessed throughout the CUS process. The GAC will identify and address technical issues, provide feedback on reports, and assist in developing and evaluating implementation strategies.
The NAS Pensacola Compatible Use Study was prepared under contract with Escambia County with financial support from the Department of Defense Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation. The content reflects the views of Escambia County and the jurisdictions, agencies and organizations involved in the development of the study and does not necessarily reflect the views of the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation.
