Committee Overview

Who Will Guide the Development of the Joint Land Use Study?

Two committees comprising city, county, military, and other stakeholders will guide Study development:

Policy Committee (PC)

The Policy Committee will include elected officials from the various communities in the CUS Study Area and leadership from NAS Pensacola. The PC will provide key insights into local and regional issues and will also be critical in helping establish and maintain relationships between key stakeholders, the communities, and the CUS development team.

General Advisory Committee (GAC)

The GAC will include representatives from local jurisdictions, agencies, the military, and other stakeholders with expertise in one or more of the 25 Compatibility Factors that will be assessed throughout the CUS process. The GAC will identify and address technical issues, provide feedback on reports, and assist in developing and evaluating implementation strategies.
